We finished week 2 at Camp Swamp. We welcomed 170 campers, with many new friends, classmates, neighbors, and cousins coming for the first time. One of our new teenaged campers observed that this camp focused on relationships, which she found particularly meaningful. As always, we finished up our week with our top ten list. This list can provide a snapshot of our week together.
You know you were at Camp Swamp week 2 when… 10. the power went out. 9. there were themed dinners with musical accompaniment every night 8. there were burst out dance circles in the dinner line 7. the burping contest blew us away 6. Girls 2 made it back and forth twice in the Wednesday night boat race 5. the camper-counselor basketball game on Thursday ended in a tie 4. we had the largest Wednesday morning fishing crew 3. when the hydration station finally died 2. there were pop up water gun fights 1.the boys let the girls eat lunch first so they would not get dog piled.
