Girls Eight

Terri: This is my last year at camp and honestly its been one of the best. I have such a great cabin and I've learned so much. I've grown deeply in my relationship with God, with others, and come to know more things about myself. My favorite part was when we did ultimate spoons against Girls 6 and it was me and one other girl in the last round. We went up in front of the entire camp, and I was so nervous. Luckily I won, so we didn't have to do the consequence :)

Susan: This is also my last year as a camper, and it has been such a rewarding time. It has completely renewed my relationship with God and reminded me how to find joy in the little things. My favorite times has been with my cabin, it's the smallest cabin I have ever been apart of but we have connected so much. From late night talks, to winning first place for cleanest cabin with a cottage core theme, I am so grateful for all Camp Swamp has provided.

Amaris: This is my second week at camp this summer. I had so much fun the first week I went, but this time  I got to do so much more that didn't before. I went fishing, I remembered to bring a bathing suit this time so I went swimming, and I signed up to Disney trivia. Not to mention how amazing my cabin mates and counselors are. They made my week amazing. I also enjoyed the bibles classes, and hearing the stories of other counselors. It was inspiring how vulnerable and personal they were with us. It's really nice knowing that this is a safe and nonjudgemental place. Camp Swamp has forever changed my life for the better. I will always cherish the memories that came from this place.

Lily: This is my first year ever at swamp! I'm from Gainesville, Florida, and while I'm a Florida Teen Camp girl forever and always, Camp Swamp now holds a very special place in my heart and all the people I've met. My counselors (the best ever) have helped me feel so welcome and the three other girls have showed me the ropes and welcomed me into the swamp family with open arms. This is my first summer as a disciple and going to both camps back to back has done nothing but strengthen my relationship with God. The memories that I will remember forever all include my cabin girls and counselors. These girls are some of the funniest people I have ever met. I feel so grateful to have been able to come this summer and will always remember my girls and Lauren and Maggie (my beauts of counselors). I hope Maggie finds her eagle scout <3
