January Update!

Hello again, friends! Welcome back to the blog, it’s good to see all of you again! This week, I wanted to let you guys know about a really cool event we have coming up!

One week from today, we’re going to be having another virtual party! It’s going to be a zoom party where we get to come together and celebrate diversity and raise funds to help Save Swamp.

One of Swamp's 10 Values is Diversity and states:

"Celebrate differences!  Whether you are an athlete, scholar, musician, or domino expert, your color, talents, interests, and quirks are accepted and celebrated...each tremendously adds to the cultural tapestry; then the words of Desmund Tutu come alive, 'Isn't it amazing that we are all made in God's image, and yet there is so much diversity among his people.”I’ll include a photo below with more information, but I just wanted to encourage as many people as possible to come if you’re able! It’ll be a great time for fun and fellowship.

Plus- all of the proceeds from this event will go towards saving Camp Swamp! So far, we've been able to raise $478,855 together! I can't wait to see how God will bless this party. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that Camp is very special to all of us, and definitely worth saving!
