Give Me A Word!

(pictured: some weekend shenanigans at camp! <3)
Hello again, friends! Welcome back to the blog, I hope everyone had a great weekend! I’m happy to be sharing another blog with all of you!

Some of you may already know this, but whenever we meet as a staff at Camp, Mr. Jeff asks us for a word to describe the week so far. You usually hear things like “unified, interesting, or high-energy”. (Yes, we like to cheat and use two words sometimes.) It’s really helpful- it helps us to get a feel for the week, and helps us to stay intentional/observant when it comes to how we serve.

After the summer was over and we were all back at home, I thought it would be cool to ask some of the staff for a word to describe the summer. Here’s what they said:

•Growth

•Refreshing

•Building

•Transformative

•Lasting-Connections (See? There we go again. haha.)

It was really cool to look back on the summer that we had together and really just take stock of an incredible summer! With that being said- I’d love to hear words from you all! Whether you spent any time at Camp this summer or not, tell me a word that describes your summer in the comments! :)

We’ve spent most of this blog looking back, but I’d like to take some time to direct your attention to the future- aka our upcoming retreats!

First off- there’s a retreat that’s just over a month away! The teen retreat is happening on September 10-12, and we wanna see you there! Click here to register!

That’s not where the fun ends though- we’ve got retreats happening every month! There’s the Mother-Daughter and middle school retreat in October, the Father-Son in November, and H@TS in December! You can follow the above link for information on all of them! :)

Well friends, that’s all for me this week! Thanks so much as always for taking time to read the blog! As always, I’m praying for each of you to have a safe and encouraging week!

Much Love,

Bri <3
