The Great Grateful Devo Challenge!

(Pictured: This is from the Father-Son Retreat! I hope you guys had fun!)

Hello again, everyone! I’m so excited to share another blog with you this week. Before I get started though, I just wanted to take a little time to remind everyone about the 5 Year Plan Strategy Survey. If you haven’t taken a look at it yet, please do so! Also, H@TS is next month! Don’t forget to register!

This week, I’ve been thinking about how fast the year is going by. It’s so strange, it feels like I just blinked and suddenly it’s November. Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away, and… dare I say it… Christmas is next month!

I thought we could kick off the holiday season with a little Thanksgiving craft! If you click this link here, you’ll see a quick tutorial on how to make a Thanksgiving Turkey out of paper. :)

(Pictured: The end result! It looks super cute!)

Cute crafts and excitement aside, I hope we can all take the time to remember why we celebrate the things that we do. It can be easy for us to get caught up in the commercialism that surrounds the holiday and forget to be thankful and honor God.

With that being said, I’m doing something every Friday for the month of November, and I’d like to invite all of you to join in! Every Friday, I’m going to write down a list of 10 things I’m grateful for. And if one of those “things” is a person, I’ll make sure to tell them I’m thinking about them. It’ll be like we’re having our own Grateful Devo’s every Friday, just like at camp!

I’m excited, I think this is going to teach me how to be better at just being grateful for everything God has given me. Hopefully, for those of you who choose to participate, we can also encourage our friends in the process.

That’s all for me this week, thanks again for taking the time to read the blog! As always, I am praying everyday for you be safe and have an encouraging week!
