Camp Swamp is an amazing blessing. This is now my sixth year as a camper, and sadly my last year camping. Every time I come here, I am completely spiritually recharged. Before this year, I was not a disciple, but I loved coming to hear the incredible lessons, make many friends, listen to the thousands of crickets and bugs at night, and look up and see millions and trillions of beautiful stars during the starlight devotional that I felt like God put in the sky just for me. The most impactful thing that Camp Swamp continues to give me is a feeling of a second home. It gives me a community where I can be my energetic and smiling self without feeling judged, and that is something you don't see in your average high school. It gives me a home where I can do everything for God, and have everlasting friendships to build me up and help me in my walk with Him. Camp Swamp will always be the most impactful place I have ever been to, and the hand fulls of memories I have I know will never go away. I do not know where I would be in my relationship with God if I didn't come to Camp Swamp for an amazing six years. If you ever have the chance to come to Swamp, I strongly urge you to take a leap of faith, and spend a week or more here!! You will have the time of your life. Trust me. :)
